Aishiteru Game, same as Kaguya-sama, is about love between teens, with each mc trying to make the other one fall in love to him/her. The difference roots that in love is war, kaguya and shirogane are genius in different ways, whilst in aishiteru game the mc are normal people only try to act and became cool for the one who he/she loves.
Both series are about 2 people trying to get the other person to confess.
Who ever confesses, "loses" in both stories
The way the two MCs interact is quite similar in both stories, and there is the same "cute" vibe aswell.
Both mangas have a psychological warfare where the main couple try to get a reaction from the opposite person. Similar to Kaguya-sama, they play a psychological game where they try to get a confession from the other person. It's not strong on the comedy element but the concept is pretty similar and could be called a predecessor of Kaguya-Sama.
