Aku no Hana

The nutty female loner of your class catches you doing naughty-naughty at school. There's only one solution: become her slave and do what she says, in the hope of avoiding the truth coming out.
Onani is one of the best character-focused psychological manga around. Aku Hana begins more along the lines of a trainwreck where logic is defied, before becoming something much more ominous and disturbing--perhaps THE most unsettling psychological manga read.

Both series consume their protagonists into the dark pits of their subconscious so as to ask them to be abnormal.

Aku no Hana is the closest manga to Onani that i've read. Both are about introverted high school boy who starts to hanging out with the weirdest girl in class. Because of that girl they start to do ''stupid'' things. Feeling of guilt, anxiety, being separated from class..
A little off tangent but the blackmail is sort of similar. The protagonist in Aku no Hana is spineless though.
Eerily similar premise. Both comics have a introvert student with a nefarious secret that only the odd girl loner in his class finds out about and uses it to take advantage of the male protagonist, eventually resulting in a struggle for redemption and a new beginning. Aku no Hana focuses more on the darker psychological aspects and how guilt and desire for love can torment the human mind while Kurosawa is more about learning to appreciate the comfort of social relations. Both comics are excellent psychological dramas (and comedy for OMK) that I am sure the fans of the genre can enjoy.
Both are somewhat chilling bildungsromans (coming of age stories) that deal with finding yourself and the dark aspects of school life. Unlike Kurosawa, Aku no Hana tops this off with amazing symbolism to add to its creepy atmosphere.
The world doesn't care about your feeling, the world will judge you based on what you're doing in life.
Everything that you're doing in the present life, whatever it is, will give an impact for the future you even if it just a little, not to forget that the people will also judge you.
This will makes you realise that you're still living in the world of causality and no one can escape from that fact.
Both have a great story dealing with this 'You Rope What You Sow', and give you a lesson to act a little more mature how to dealing with life. Watch your

The have some similarities about doing something "Sinful" in school, and getting blackmailed for that particular thing, and also growing in that environment.
however the overall themes do not match, Onanie master Kurosawa was a bit more optimistic than Aku no Hana.
Both show a pair of troubled students
Both have a serious and grim tone
Both have themes of guilt, obsession and hopelessness
Extremely similar premise, nerdy looking quiet girl turns out to be a weirdo, and catches the weirdo protagonist doing weird stuff. They get blackmailed and made to do what the girl wants them to do.
Also deals with themes of depression and suicide.

vewy similar I won't explain why it is but there are a lot of reasons. though onanie isn't realy a romance it does have some parts of, which almost make it one but not realy. if you liked one you shall probably like the other I guarentee it!(though it makes no sense to guarentee this cause it's a probability :p)

Both main characters are controlled by a girl who knows their 'secret' and both of them find happiness later because of that girl, both series have the same type of story the only difference is that the main characters personalities are different.

Insecure school boys do weird shit and end up in a loop of progressively more weird shit because an equally insecure and weird girl saw them do it. Both stories are bangers imo. Also both very popular so this might be redundant, but the similarities are too uncanny for me not to point out.
