Both Around 30 dakedo, Hatsukoi desu and Wotakoi, at their core are an adult romance manga with many slice of life and comedy aspects. They both have a lot of setting within their office/work and it ties into the side couple. Both stories have a more "experienced" side couple that is helping the main couples relationship. In addition, the side couple in Around 30 dakedo, Hatsukoi desu and the main couple in Wotakoi are very similar in my opinion.
- The main couple have a very similar dynamic to the one in Wotakoi, with both of them being kinda awkward around each other. In Around 30 dakedo, however, they think and display much more affection than the Wotakoi duo.
- Both have the couple starting early (1st chapter)
- Both series have a secondary couple that is more put-together relationshipwise, but with flaws of their own.
- All around I think this manga is perfect if you like the heartwarming romance in Wotakoi, but wants more development. Another great point is that the manga is finished, so no need to wait months for a chapter.

Both series revolve around a few core couples' woes on relationships in a comedy/slice of life manga setting. WotaKoi's struggles revolve around the couples being otakus while Around 30's struggles revolve around the couples being "old." There are a lot of similarities between the two but both are different enough for me to recommend one if you like the other!

The main couple of both titles are grown ups and they are developing their relationship. They have friends that are more mature and advise them. Around 30 has more romance than Wotakoi.
