Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun

There is a main trio of characters of two guys and one girl, but the second guy maintains a completely platonic relationship with the two other characters and it's never a love triangle.
The most similar aspect is the in-universe shoujo mangaka who bases their main heroine on their friend as well as hiding their second identity from everyone else in the school.
Although Otomen has a little bit more romance than gekkan, both are funny, adorable and light-hearted and a great read. A lot of similar vibes.
Both manga significantly and humorously subvert shoujo cliches! Otomen focuses slightly more on the romance in comparison to Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, but is amusing and quite adorable.

These two manga are very similar with the fact that: 1) They're both shoujo manga, 2) There is a mangaka basing his characters off of his classmates, and 3) The romantic interest is really dense (or at least Ryo seems that way in the beginning).
Though Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun focuses more on the comedy aspect than the romance, I think the two are really similar.
