Both Love Mode and Challengers are BL classics. They were created, when authors were still exploring the basics of the yaoi genre, thus you can find a lot of 'cliches'(Though they created those cliches in first place). Both have a standard set: slightly slow, but cute and forgiving uke and passionately in love, persistent, but guilt-ridden seme. Love Mode showcases an incredible collection of deep characters' backgrounds and drama with comedy elements, while Challengers ventures in a more innocent, romantic comedy type.
