You can’t prejudice people, no matter what they look like.
Both tells about the carefree school life of delinquents, and there’s lots of school fights, humor, funny misunderstandings, strong female characters and some yakuzas.
In Angel Densetsu, Seiichirou Kitano only appears to be cruel school delinquent, but in reality he has a good heart. Story repeats itself in Gokusen, where math teacher Kumiko Yamaguchi beliefs in her ”cute little students”, although everyone else thinks they are hopeless. Luckily Yamaguchi has a secret weapon: she's from yakuza family.

While the two manga have completely different plots and totally opposite main characters, the humor in the manga is very similar. If you enjoy one you'll likely enjoy the other.
