Kurogane and Baby Steps both involves a main male protagonist who is an academic powerhouse with below average athletic abilities. That is....until they discover the passion for a new hobby. They become involved with a club/team that practices their beloved sport. (Kurogane: Kendo, Baby Steps: Tennis). And throughout both series, the MC forms meaningful relationships with other characters while discovering his own potential. Recommended for fans interested in lighthearted sports series.
