Another great story from the same author, although FY's story is founded more on a fantasy basis. FY has less horror, more humour and a lighter tone generally, but the love plots in Watase's works are similar enough. I preferred FY by far, but both mangas are worth a read.
Well-known shoujo manga by Yuu Watase, heavily focused on romance and fantasy.
Destiny on a girl's shoulders. War, reincarnation and ancestral gods. Bishounen aplenty.
Although Fushigi Yugi has more adventure and comedy, while Ayashi No Ceres is darker and more violent, both may have controversial or disturbing scenes (i.e. sexual assault, incest).
