Both are similar in that they have humans trying to coexist with a fantastically race with different values. Though it is much more at the front of maid dragon and could be argued that it’s the crux of the story. In Demon mother it is a supporting theme to the motherly themes which are more prevalent. Both have some similar archetypes especially in the character taking care of the fantastical characters.
