1 male lead in both series has a horrible past they must overcome. if like one you'll definitely like the other.
Both deal very much with psychological issues in which the characters are mentally scarred. However, in BroXBro, it is due to a violent past in which he is raped numerous times. It's not graphic, but it is mentioned, and we get a flashback or two of it.
