Both are by Arina Tanemura, so it goes without saying: romance, magic, comedy, and HUGE shoujo eyes. Mitsuki and Maron are quite similiar. Full Moon can be dramatic with painfully sad situations, while KKJ is more light-hearted.

Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Full Moon wo Sagashite are two shoujo manga series serialized in Ribon and created by Arina Tanemura. They're both fairly different, especially in premise, but the magical girl theme, near non-stop plot twists, and Tanemura's sense of comedy make this a safe recommendation for fans of the manga-ka. Despite Jeanne coming out before Full Moon and therefore having an older art style, Tanemura's art throughout both series still manages to be an amazing feast for the eyes.

These manga have the same author/artist and both have "magical girl" elements! Tanemura's character designs are beautiful and she writes emotional, funny, and impactful stories that will stick with you for a long time. Both stories are themed around girls with difficult circumstances who are given a chance to take control of their lives in ways they never thought were possible. The side characters are given time to grow and have their own character arcs as well, and the relationships between all the characters are compelling and worth exploring!
