Neither BL nor Bara, these are slice of life manga about gay characters running in seinen magazines. Catering to a straight male readership unaware of LGBT issues, they're realistic and don't contain any graphic scenes.
Otouto's art will be a turnoff for many, but I'd highly recommend you to pick up this manga if you enjoyed Kinou Tani. That's bc both of them deal with the topic of adult gay men, and society's reaction to them, pretty realistically. Both are well written and I'm sure many LGBT+ people will find many relatable panels/dialogues in both of them.
