I actually find them quite similar in some aspects:
- In both we have at least one of the leads being bad at communication with people: Ririna in "Koi to Uso" and Nanami in "Real mo Tama ni wa Uso wo Tsuku"
- They are more about romance and relationships than a plot. While they have some plot initially it doesn't hold up for long.
- They both have "lie" in the title, and this theme gets covered in both manga one way or another.
- Very good art-style in both, you can feel the emotions characters are going through.
- There is a sugar-sweet like first-love and romance themes
