They're both the same style with the prince and princess.
Of course there's another world where the princes and princesses originally lives but they chose to live on earth and go to school with their friends (both show their friend's stories too) and some of their friends were also from the fantasy world.
There's a love triangle in adventure and trouble diary, but not so sure with angel diary.
The girl is the main thing! she's not weak and helpless like in typical shoujo mangas. They're both strong, funny and smart.
