Basically if you like one you'll definitely like the other. Both have:
- A similar sense of humor that makes you laugh on every other page
- The main characters are both strong delinquents with a good heart that starts school in a new area.
- The art is also very good.
The difference is:
- Yamada-kun has a more understandable plot than Oresama.
- Yamada-kun has more romance in it
- Yamada-kun has a sort of supernatural setting
