Both stories take place in a post-apocalyptic world with young adults as protagonists. Mangas tell story about the world with new formations, violence, and the search for something missing. Both have mature content.
I read both and both of these amaxing pieces and they have the same uncanny feel to it. After just a few chapters of heavenly delusion it reminded me of eden so I was surprised that when the author said that he took inspiration from another work it turns out that he wasn't referring to eden but akira instead.
The setting shares similarities but it's mostly about the atmosphere and style of storytelling
Both series takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, and follow a young boy grow up learning to survive in a coming of age story. Both plots deal with aspects of cyberpunk, sci-fi, mysterious political powers, and sabotage/revenge. Tengoku honestly feels like a modern take of Eden
