Nana and Vash are good-natured, goofy and very idealistic characters who use their strength to do what they think is right, yet they are not foolhardy or obnoxious. Pacifism and even Vash's catchphrase (the world is made of) "love and peace" are pervading Tripeace as well. They are both inherently wacky, with many different colorful characters, and it is very easy to build strong bonds to these characters.
Both Trigun and Tripeace build their their unique, yet easily accessible world.

Both of these manga are about an unassuming bad ass MC in a fantasy setting as they slowly reveal to those around them just how insanely cool their real identity really is. In tripeace though, his identity is more of an accidental secret, whereas in trigun it's on purpose that he conceals his. Both of these are great outlaw stories, if you enjoyed triguns slick criminal on the run plot point you'll definitely enjoy tripeace and vice versa
