Both series follow protagonists who were unexpectedly thrusted into the world of boxing and discovers a passion for it. The protagonists have natural talent for the sport and carry a "never give up" mentality.

They're both series about someone learning about boxing and aiming to ascend in ranking. RRR has much in common with Hajime no Ippo. They have about the same style when it comes to the drawn fights and lots of fighters in RRR are copies from HnI with a slightly altered background, without feeling like a total rip-off.

Both are boxing manga which focus on a main protagonist who discovers his hidden talent in boxing and show the evolution of the main character from a total novice to a great professional boxer. Both manga are also filled with humor, likable characters and great fights.

If you like either one of these series it's safe to say you'll like the other. While RRR doesn't go extremely into detail on the technical aspects of boxing it matches Ippos zero to hero storyline perfectly, and tackles the toll boxing takes on people both mentally and physically.
Both of these are great boxing dramas, and I can see a fan of either series taking a liking to the other
