So both are dark fantasy themed stories, mcs with a side nobody wants to cross with despite coming across as "innocent" so to speak. As well as having influences from fairy tales as well too.

Fairy Cube and Pandora Hearts are two dark fantasy manga that, while aimed at different demographics (Fairy Cube is shoujo while Pandora Hearts is shounen), are made by two female manga-ka with separate but similarly appealing fanbases. Both start somewhat similar with a "deal with the devil" kind of call to action and have an overall similar vibe. This includes the dark fantasy elements, innocent male main characters teamed up with rather bitter fantastical female characters, fairy-tale-esque elements, mysterious dolls, and even the art style to an extent!
