Miriam and Kagome are both tough, stubborn, no-nonsense girls who are as keen on adventure as the male leads, and they prove they are just as strong as the guys. Kagome is a great shot with the bow and arrow; Miriam is quite the little sharpshooter. Also, the main couples don't realize they're in love for a while. Lastly, because they are both older mangas, the art style is similar.
Both are really great stories!
