Cage of Eden is basically like Highschool of the Dead except, you know, better. Though both manga are set in a world of fantasy, CoE has a much more realistic tone to it. The characters are generally more likable, realistic, and relatable. Plus, I appreciate the fact that though both are kinda ecchi, the girls in CoE have breasts that, though still rather large, are not as ridiculously sized as it is in HoD (I honestly began to question whether they were really human and not just a pair of boobs with a small head and body attached for decoration).

Both Highschool of the Dead and Eden no Ori are mangas about a group of highschoolers that have to fight together for their survival. The main characters are also very alike. The mangas goes under the same genres along with plenty of action and fighting scenes, in HotD there are zombies and on Eden no Ori they have to fight against different extinct animals. Both of the series also offer a big amount of fanservice, but I'd say that HotD is a little bit more extreme on this point.

Both feature a group of highschoolers attempting to survive in a dangerous new environment.
Both are about a group of students that under certain circumstances must band together to survivor and to avoid a horrible death, only difference really in that in HOTD their fighting zombies while in Eden no Ori it's a wave of prehistoric animals are supposed to be extinct.
Note: Both have a considerable amount of ecchi in them.

Both of these are set in a "post-apocalyptic" type setting. The main characters (HOTD - Takashi/Eden - Akira) don't think much of themselves but they become the leader of a group of people they find while trying to survive the aftermath of the "apocalypse". Finally, both offer lots of ecchi shots.

Both are ecchi with lots of fanservice.
Both involve groups of kids working together to survive against impending doom (prehistoric animals and zombies).
Eden seems to focus more on the mystery than the action while Highschool does the exact opposite.
Eden no Ori and HOTD are very similar. Most of the characters have the same personality and there're both about surviving.
while high school of the dead has a zombie type story in it cage of eden deals with plane crash both have similar type of groups with suspense,you imagine what you would do if you were there,they both have similar cool characters also romance(little bit is also there)
