One of my favorite aspects to Gunslinger Girl is the degree to which the conflict seems to be written from a good understanding of terrorism, counter-terrorism, and acts of violence in general. In terms of both why and how the factions are here and the gunfights take place
Groundless is a more straightforward action vehicle, though there is also some heavy, traumatic character character drama.
