Short chapters of a female character enjoying food in an izakaya or diner setting. Kuchibeta Shokudou has an understated romance feel as the main character seems to have a bit of a crush on the cook and Wakako-zake is much more straightforward pure enjoyment in eating. The food and drink is drawn a bit more prominently in Wakako-zake, but both are comforting to read.
