Similar coming of age story of LGBT teens that isnt super romance-focused
Both of them are stories that deal with how people struggle with homosexuality and how the world around them acts with them
Both these manga are incredibly well written pieces of work that handle the struggles of young LGBT+ folks. Love and sex take a backseat, and the relationship of young gay boys with each other, their families, society and even themselves - take the front seat. Extremely well written, both tackle the doubt, fear and humiliation that LGBT people have to face on a daily basis, how you make and break relationships simply because of your sexuality, and how, often, some dreams are never meant to be realized.
both stories depict a more lifelike and mature take on lgbt relationships and how messed up treatment can be for anyone thats lgbt.
