Somehow the two share the same vibe to it even if the core story is totally different.
Both are wholesome stories that cover the topic of loneliness and family/friendship... and student-teacher relationship. Although Amaama to Inazuma doesn't focus on romance as the plot of the story, more like romance is only hinted at but never a main part of the story. Even so, the sprinkle of romance and the open ending still make me want to put it in the same category as Tsuiraku JK to Haijin Kyoushi.
