In both mangas, there is an academy where two groups of people train, with two different powers. A person is only supposed to have one of two skills, however, one male has the ability to possess both skills. There are also many girls around him, which seem to have feelings of affection for him. Both mangas are based off light novels. There are differences, as in Magika you either train with magic or swords, as in Seiken, you utilize your ability to become something known as a 'saviour'.
