Both manga are about a father taking care of his daughter after the mom passes away. My girl is much more emotional and straight forward. Chichi to Hige-Gorilla to Watashi (especially at the beginning) is much more comedy focused, however later in the series there is much more drama added to it. Another difference is that Chichi to Hige has an added element of an uncle as a main character along with the father and daughter while My Girl is focused only on the father and daughter. I think if you like one you'll enjoy the other but if you're looking for an emotional rollercoaster
