Both heroines will make you laugh a thousand times over with their un-shoujo-like charms. They are both perfect for a reader who is looking for a great manga that has characters with strong well-developed personalities.
The relationship between the main characters of both Mangas is one of somewhat a forbidden kind, age and situation. Skip Beat's and Dengeki Daisy's heroins have good values and that is how both male leads seem to fall for them...

Although the plots are different, the feeling and characters match up quite nicely.
Both protagonist females are sorda like tsundere's, and they both express lots of different emotions at once.
Here's what I find similar:
- Both female protagonists and lost all of their family. (Except Kyoko [Skip-Beat!] could go back to her mother, but she doesn't want to)
- Both female protagonists have a male-like partner who is tall and handsome. (Teru [Dengeki Daisy] has Kurosaki, and Kyoko [Skip-Beat!] has Ren.]
- They both have two female characters who are mean to them at first. (Teru [Dengeki Daisy] has Rena, and Kyoko [Skip-Beat!] has Kanae)

Kyoko and Teru take no nonsense. They share a certain determination to succeed in their endeavors, and they both have older love interests, as well as bullies who target them. Both Skip Beat! and Dengeki Daisy are long (Skip Beat! Is longer), and are definitely worth watching/reading.
