Both are isekai that will have you on the floor, dying of laughter. If you love Konosuba you'll undoubtedly love Eminence in Shadow.
Comedy, Parody of an Isekai
Both are fantasy-based series heavily based on a comedic setting with the characters being at the focus. If you like the characters of one series, you will most likely enjoy the characters of the other series. You don't need to think deeply about every situation in both these mangas to have a fun time.
The genre is isekai & comedy. The protagonists aren't hell bent on defeating anyone or anything, not really anyway. Both series' most important point is - just being entertaining. U won't find many things that makes u wonder about them, deliberate on them or anything. Just having fun- is the most important part. The mode of rendition is pretty different ( that's the fun, ain't it?) but, they r similar on core values.
