Both series also follows an adventurous tale where there's brewing rivalries, antagonism, and mysterious secrets. In terms of battle style, expect shounen action with magical mechanics.

-Both have adventure action and humor
-Both stories are about a magical world
Both are very similar with:
-magic and mages,
-action shounen,
-overpowered charcters who are on the verge of death but come back alive even stronger,
-guilds,
-rivals and who will be the best,
-and friendship.
Even the beginning, the antagonist are the other guilds, then transitions to a greater evil.
Black Clover feels more mature? than fairy tail, with less in-your-face-ecchi and keeping more of a dark-fantasy theme and characters. Fairy Tail uses more anime and cartoon-y approach.

If you are a fan of Fairy Tail then you have to check out Black Clover. Other than being a Battle shounen manga based in a world of wizards Black Clover just like fairy tail has a strong willed main character that is overpowered and fears nothing. a blast to read and an overall good manga.

Magic is present in both worlds and each character has his own magic.
Black clover has order of knight which are similar to fairy tail's guild.
We find groups of wizard who lives and fight together against other groups of wizard.
The atmosphere and humor are the same in both manga.
We have a main character but we evolve with all the group.
-Both Main Characters (Aster and Natsu) are rowdy and stubborn
-Both MCs will do anything to protect their friends
-Both Manga are about family. Fairy Tail more so than Black Clover
-Lucy and Noell are basically the same person as far as personality
-Both story lines and overall quality are really outstanding

The Magic is very versatile in both worlds and is being used for combat and the daily life of its inhabitants. Also the Mc joins a crazy group of outcasts and fights against whatever evil is attacking their city/kingdom alongside them.

Both universes are fictive and use magical power. There are also guilds with badass and mysterious members. Both of these mangas are nekketsu shonen so the protagonists will power up and will make new friends throughout the volumes. To me, these mangas are more targeted at children/young teenagers! Enjoy !!
