The basic plot is so similar it's not even funny. They even both have a Gonzo anime adaptation.
Group of high schoolers dies ---> They come back to life ---> They are forced to fight against monsters/aliens for initially unknown reasons ---> They'll die (again) if they either refuse to fight or die during the battle ---> They discover to be copies of their original bodies ---> They are called with a song at the beginning of every mission; etc...
Both are dark, psychological, horror manga full of violence, gore and action, but Red Garden is deeper, more dramatic and female-focused; also, on the opposite of Gantz,
