They are both about people being forced into a death game. The both pretty much start off the same way, although the characters are different.
both make use of violent, intense survival games to question concepts like life, death, purpose, and friendship.
Both plot begins at the same location(train station), at that location, the main character and his friend got teleported to an unknown place. They are forced to play games of life and death while trying to find a way to escape from the games.
Games to the death.
In both cases there is more to the respective games than meets the eye with lots of mysteries and a varied cast.
Both are survival manga. A group of people is sent to another place, where they have to participate in death games. If they die along the way, they automatically die in the real world too. They need to figure out the rules of the place they're currently in, so that they can go back to where they came from.
i won't say that alice is the exact same as gantz or even a lot like it becuse gantz is one of a kind but i will say that if you liked gantz you will get a taste of gantz here
as an example
the story is not as diverse as gantz i mean you won't see them fighting budda then fighting a dionsaur but it is diverse enough to make every game new and fresh
