In both manga:
- the protagonist is part of a group of people tasked with slaying bizarre supernatural foes in a modern urban environment;
- the battles get quite violent and brutal;
- there is an underlying agenda about their fights;
- protagonist's character experience growth along the way;
- features drama that brings a tear to my eye.
Both are batshit insane and have a lot of gore. Both protagonists are perverts and both grow a lot throughout the story.

These two are so alike, both features very crazy and bizarre ideas everytime they have the opportunity, lots of violence and a bit of focus in sexuality sometimes.
Both feature a protagonist who goes through a "life changing" experience and have to go on life-threatening missions and meet interesting new characters. Both protagonists are teenagers craving female touch. The stories (overall) are avant-garde and hold nothing back. Gore
