Death Sweeper

They are both are about death and how it affects the people around them.
Death sweeper mostly focuses on cleaning up what's left of the body, its aftermath ect. While Shigeshoushi, also known as "The Embalmer" centers its plot around the profession of beautifying the corpses to make the individual look as they did before they pershied. Both are a little gruesome but both are enlightening and are worth the read.
