Both of these manga series are about a trading card game, but with the game's fluid rules the focus of each match isn't strategy as much as creativity. But ultimately, the focus isn't the game itself, but enjoying it and discovering oneself through it -- Yu-gi-oh! in a standard shounen way; King of Cards in a standard shoujo way.
Even though Yu-Gi-Oh is a shounen and King Of Cards is a shoujo, both are about a trading card game which is very popular at school, and both manga also have fantasy and action. Even their titles are alike: King Of Games - King Of Cards.
