They have a similar tragic feel where it feels as if the main characters' relationships are impossible. It also deals with society/wealth, kidnap/trauma, and an overall dark tones.
Both manga are about a high member of society and a commoner falling in love and trying to keep their relationship alive through people who oppose their being together, trauma, and people who try to take their lives due to grudges and etc. Both are kind of dark sometimes, but they are great manga
