These sports mangas are quite similar in their set ups and characters and even the way the characters act. In each we have a female manager of a male sports club in school. Both girls come across are hard, scar, bossy but hard-working, and are sort of tsunderes yet they started managing because they were secretly in love with the captain but never tell him. The male leads are a different guy who falls for them and both guys come across as pushy and a good athlete but they sincerely fall for the manager girl first
