Both of these mangas have a very dark feeling and art style.
They both involve a guy who seems normal at first but later on comes of as a complicated character. There is a girl in here who writes letters to the man just before she died.

Both are some pretty sick and twisted storytelling and both have this edgy and unconventional feel to it as well too and both can be finished in just one readthrough.
