Both are non-battle-battle-manga that set in a High School that revolves around a particular activity (cooking / Gambling) Both have a protagonist that enters the school, makes friends and immediately starts disrupting the status quo.
Both have strong art, and both are generally popular series. If you have tried one and liked it, I highly recommend the other.
