Both manga have the same story that follows the MC trying to find the girl behind the voice and the girl who wore strawberry panties. Although the art were 20 years apart from Heart Tune (it literally is) i think it still holds up with its story and character progression throughout the manga. A major downside for me was this manga have a lot (A LOT) of ecchi scene compared to Heart Tune.
But still, i think if you like Mayonaka Heart Tune you'll probably want to check Ichigo 100%
