These two mangas are on the darker than most shoujo, because of their more realistic and dark approach of tropes, making them seem as if they're josei mangas. The MCs are kind teenage girls, who meet and fall for a classmate, who are full of problems. As the mc gets familiar with the boy, their lives change as they get involved with people or conflicts, acquainted with the boy. What also distinguishes these two series from others of this genre are the complex and developing characters, not only the mcs, but also the side characters
