Ame no Hi no Iris

Gekkou and Ame no Hi no Iris are both dark, dramatic and gripping tales with well-crafted and engaging atmospheres. In spite of this, they are both ultimately forward-looking, though Ame no Hi no Iris may have something more meaningful to say than Gekkou. They're both one-shots too, so they don't require much investment. Similarly, both one-shots have fluid writing with a lot of soul to them (at least in the translations).
While reading Ame no Hi no Iris, I couldn't help but think that it had a similar 'feel' to Gekkou, though it's undoubtedly an improvement in terms of atmosphere. They're both worth a shot; standouts
