Grand Blue

Grand Blue and Gintama are both over the top, comedy based, episodic series. Each features a small, yet diverse, cast of amusing characters taking part in a club/organization (Diving Club/Yorozuya Gin-Chan). Both, early on, have relatively minimal plot lines, focusing more on comedy than story. Both authors make use of intense facial expression within the series' humor.

It's similar to gintama because both are manga's that the main focus is comedy.

Grand blue takes place following a highstudent, unlike in gintama, it is, for the most part, not so much about college life. It is more so about doing activites in the club, like the trio Mc at gintama.
Although the setting is completely different, viewers will see this slice-of-life manga series has quite a lot in common with Gintama. Fans fell in love with the show straight away as the characters are all great, while the series has a quirky dark sense of humor.
Both manga have many absurd and laughable moments since the first chapter, there wasn’t a moment they -and readers- were bored.
