Even just by the plot, these two cover very similar ground but in different ways. They both involve a male character dying, with his soul inhabiting a female body. In W!!, this body is his sister whom he knows very well, while in R, it is a complete stranger, and he slowly gains knowledge about the person he's inhabiting.
