In many ways, Pastel is a retelling of Parallel. It is almost as if the author decided to recycle many things in Parallel in Pastel. If you enjoyed one, you will definitely enjoy the other.

Made by the same artist, Toshihiko Kobayashi, about a boy's pursuit for his love interest, and things that happens when they are going out. Packed with fan service and a large array of character, it offers an entertaining story and moe overloads.
Both stories and art are done by the person. The setting and storyline are basically the same. Parallel seems to be a short version of Pastel.
