Both mangas are very similar, but very different.
Koizora is a lot darker than Boku and a lot less comical, but both of the mangas follow a romantic relationship with the male always trying to protect the girl. Both are real tear-jerkers.

In both manga, there is a relationship between a guy and a girl that starts off well, but has some twists real soon and fast. In both manga, there are love triangles, more for the girl than the guy, where that person affects the relationship throughout the entire story, not just for a few chapters. There is tragedy for sure, although Boku has a bit more humor than Koizora. Their relationship takes a turn when the guy wants to protect the girl from something that could emotionally damage her in the future, resulting in misunderstandings and both people trying to move on, eventually finding other
