Both have prominent themes of regret, though each examines it differently. In Ore ga Doutei, the main character is allowed (forced?) to redo his life until he reaches a satisfactory result. In Jumyou, the protagonist must deal with the consequences of his past behavior. Leading characters in both must try to understand other characters in the context of their (the MCs) actions.
