Both have power bottom ukes and they steal from and take advantage of their semes. The ukes each have their own mysterious pasts that are unknown to their partner and the feelings they have for the semes are unclear from the start. I recommend to read both to truly see how similar the two are to each other because, story wise, they are alike in many aspects.
It's rare to come across BL manga that don't follow any tropes, and these two gems happen to fit that criteria to the T. We have a uke who's cunning and manipulative, and has his sights set on our older, but kinda naive seme. The seme knows the uke is trouble, and yet, their game of cat-and-mouse ends with them having sex with each other, despite the seme having no idea how the uke feels for him.
