Overall, the emotions that the author tries to evoke are similar.
Both of the main characters are both likeable and unlikeable at the same time. They both have tragic plotlines and apathetic characters. Although the settings are different, they have a similar time scale and are historical, fantasy with gore and sex. The art styles are different however they both are super pleasing and beautiful to read.
