They are excellent slice-of-life manga that I recommend to any SoL fans out there. Very atmospheric, beautiful art and scenery, and the reading experience evokes nostalgia and melancholy.
Both works aim to elicit bittersweet feelings over the transcience of things, in accordance with the "mono no aware" concept.
As noted in another recommendation, both feature a female MC (Alpha is a gynoid though rather than biologically human) and their story is connected to their memories of the world.
